Creator of the 2-Hour School Day.

I’m a master teacher, mom, and systems reformer who believes childhood should feel like wonder—not a bell schedule. After 20+ years inside the system, I built SmartHead Co.™ to prove something radical yet simple: kids can master state standards in about two hours a day through integrated, hands-on projects—freeing the rest of the day for family, faith, nature, and real life.

SmartHead unites what others keep separate: rigor + soul, STEM + story, portfolios + purpose. Families use my Hero’s & Legacy Portfolio system to document mastery, not just minutes. The result? Calm homes, curious kids, and evidence that stands up anywhere.

What I’m Building (and why it’s different)
The 2-Hour School Day — Standards-aligned, project-based learning that compresses the “must-do” into focused, meaningful blocks.
Faith-Based Pathway (optional) — The same two-hour model, woven with scripture, devotion, and capstones that honor a family’s spiritual life.

The 11 Pillars of Natural Law — A timeless framework that anchors every project in truth, balance, and ethical action.

Hero’s & Legacy Portfolios — Weekly artifacts become a living record of mastery from K–12—culminating in a senior capstone that tells a student’s Hero’s Journey.

How this differs from everyone else: most models still rely on long seat-time or tech-heavy routines. SmartHead is the first unified approach to prove mastery in ~2 hours/day while integrating nature, arts, movement, ethics, and family rhythms at the core—not the fringe.

The Research & the Movement
SmartHead is a multi-year research program piloted with founding families to validate two-hour mastery across K–12. This year, I’m inviting 25 families into the pilot cohort—informing expansion to microschools and partner communities next year. We document outcomes with portfolios, parent interviews, and student artifacts; we’re also engaging university partners to study results at scale.

I review your schedule, time-on-task, and focus areas, then hand you a simple 2-Hour Plan to hit standards without the grind.

Faith-Based (Optional) Pathway
If you want your child’s education to reflect your faith, I offer a parallel rhythm:

Scripture → STEM Project → Writing/Art → Family Reflection. Capstones at grades 3, 6, 8, and 12 build toward a Legacy Ark + Hero’s Codex—a beautiful, tangible testimony of learning, service, and stewardship.

(Prefer a secular approach? Great. The core 2-Hour model works beautifully on its own.)
